The Herbalist In Oakland.

I shot a class for a friend of mine who is an herbalist and plant specialist in Oakland. He teaches out if his small home kitchen. I took a part creative and part photo-journalistic approach. Here are a few black and white versions of the shots that tell the story of the afternoon. It was a fun challenge, and good for sharpening my professional chops.

Collage

I love the photo collage. I don't have anything complex to say about it, I just love combining images, especially images of people and people-made things of the city...and images that bring together a certain mood or feeling...and especially when the other images somehow reflect the person in the collage in some way.
